GLACERA

GlaCera is a nanotechnology enabled coating recommended for all sorts of glass and ceramic surfaces such as bath tubs, shower cabins, lavatories, toilets, ceramic tiles, outdoor windows etc. When GlaCera is applied, the surface acquires hydrophobic and oleophobic properties.

A thin layer is formed with an excellent roll-off effect for water. These hydrophobic and oleophobic qualities make sure that contaminated substances like, grease, oil, lime and environmentally unfriendly materials stick less to the treated surface. At the same time the coating eases the removal of dirt and so decreases the maintenance costs as no harmful detergent needs to be used.

After the surface is coated and the time for the coating to set (24h) has passed, the substrate can be easily tested by pouring a bit of water over the treated surface. This will result in water droplets and the water should roll off without difficulty.
