TIMBER
TIMBER is a coating based on nanotechnology and specially developed to make untreated wood water and oil repellent. Treated wood should be thoroughly polished before applying the coating. When the coating is applied correctly, a thin and invisible layer will form and thus hydrophobic and oleophobic characteristics will be obtained. This thin layer will make sure that water and dirt won't stick as much to the substrate. In addition there will be less need for maintenance, which saves money. Contrary to other products such as varnish, the treated surface will not color differently. The wood will keep its natural color.
TIMBER is a perfect coating to prevent the formation of moss, algae, fungus, etc on vertical surfaces.
All types of untreated wood
Garden furniture
Indoor furniture
Gates and fences
Wooden swing
Window frames
Doors
It's important that the surface is completely dry prior to applying TIMBER. Application is done by spraying or submerging the material. It's of great importance to treat the wood entirely and evenly. After the wood is coated and the time for the coating to set (24h ' 5 days in humid environment) has passed, the substrate can be easily tested by pouring a bit of water over the treated surface. This will result in water droplets and the water should roll off without difficulty instead of impregnating the material as with uncoated wood.
Longtime contact with water should be avoided as it is the purpose for the wood to still be able to breathe.
